Special

Goodbye PALS. Hello RAILS…

Thank you for your support and encouragement of PALS over the years. All of us at PALS are grateful for the opportunity to serve you, and we cherish all the great memories. On this last day of operations for PALS, you may be wondering: What happens tomorrow, when RAILS launches?

Throughout the past twelve months, as representatives from ALS, DLS, MLS, NSLS and PALS have worked on the merger, maintaining member services has been a top priority. So on RAILS’ first day of operations tomorrow, we will strive to provide the same level of service to which you are accustomed.

Mentoring survey from LAC

From the PALS Librarians' Advisory Committee:

The Librarians' Advisory Committee of PALS has created a survey to determine if there would be any interest in creating a mentoring group to aid libraries that need assistance in a variety of areas. Since the system was forced to cut back on consulting services, there is a perceived need to fill that role. This survey is hoping to determine if that need is real and if there are librarians out there willing to provide such assistance.
